Apricot Agate is an interesting gemstone that is often made by heating grey agate stones. Natural stones are much rarer and harder to find in stores. Apricot Agate is distinguished for its "apricot" color, hence the name of this stone.

Apricot Agate is in most cases artificially heated grey agate stone and not that easy to find in nature. It comes with well-known bands and lines that are signature of all agate gems, just in pink, apricot, white grey and brown color in this case. This stone comes with a rating of 7 on the Mohs scale of hardness with a vitreous luster that ranges from transparent to opaque.
There are some references that ancient warriors wore "Apricot Agate" jewelry as a talisman that will give them strength during the battle. It is believed that it will deepen the bond between parents and the child. People often carried it in the form of tumbled stone, used it for its calming effects, believing in its grounding, gentle energy.
Apricot Agate is associated with strength, stability, it is believed that it increases person stamina. This stone works very well with children as it is believed to protect young people, children, and infants.
